On April 19, UMI and V released a new version of their collaboration song Wherever U R featuring NATURE. This project results in at least 50% of recording royalties being directed to a non-profit foundation who redistributes funds to high-impact, rights-based conservation initiatives around the world. On April 17, it was reported that Kim Taehyung would be appearing alongside his Special Task Force (SDT) unit in a promotional training video wearing their black military police combat uniform. On February 8, Kim Taehyung was assigned to the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do and will continue his military service as a Special Task Force of the Military Police Corps known as "Double Dragons". He received basic military training for 5 weeks where he was appointed Platoon Leader of his trainee squad, and was one of only four trainees out of 800 who was awarded as an 'Elite Trainee' soldier. Kim Taehyung has become the face of one of Korea's most loved coffee brands. An official from 'Compose Coffee' stated, “We are delighted to collaborate with a global artist who is loved worldwide regardless of gender or age. Kim Taehyung began his mandatory 18 months South Korea military service joining basic training on December 11 and will eventually report to the Army's Special Forces SDT to serve as an elite soldier.

On December 3 and 10, Kim Taehyung made another memorable appearance on the popular Korean television variety show “Running Man” along with Korean actor Yoo Seung Ho. The special ‘Tazza’ episode consisted of a fun day of mock gambling using caramel candies and proved Taehyung to be unbeatable with his incredible instincts, strategy and luck. On September 13, the first ever live performance of 'Blue' was televised on Naver TV Show "NPOP". V was dressed like a rockstar with a blonde mullet, whilst wearing a Celine leather jacket and leather pants. 'Blue' is a song that stands out with V's vocals penetrating deep bass and drum sounds. It adds a special touch by adding a modern sound to the R&B genre. His performance which was initially filmed in black and white, was alluring and captivating. Once again, V's strong live vocals were impressive, and had K Media asking if he ate CDs for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

On September 15, V performed on Tiny Desk Korea, a brand new series based halfway around the world from NPR's offices in Washington D.C. He was chosen as one of their inaugural guest performers to help launch the series. V performed Love Me Again, Slow Dancing and For Us with an eight-member band. Most of the musicians had flown in from the U.S. just for this performance; a few already based in Seoul. He posted on Instagram saying "Something I've been dreaming of creating since I started making my album. Thank you to my wonderful band for another fun session." The jazzed-up versions featuring saxophone and keyboard solos perfectly complemented V's outstanding live vocals, ad libs, vibing and energy levels.

On September 21, V posted special content called V's 20 Second LIVE @ Gangneung. It showed behind-the-scenes footage, including the preparation process for a guerrilla event, where V would make a surprise appearance in front of small audiences and perform a song live for 20 seconds. A variety of people were invited to visit the jazz bar. They thought it was simply a performance by a new singer, but when V sang in front of them, they were clearly shocked and surprised. At end of the video, V expressed his thoughts saying, "I wanted to try something like this. I want to approach the ARMY in a slightly new way and I also wanted to take on a challenge."

On September 18, V appeared on Japan's famous YouTube Channel called THE FIRST TAKE. It is dedicated to filming musicians and singers performing in a single take. On September 9, V made his solo stage debut on Naver TV Show “NPOP”. His live performances of Rainy Days, Love Me Again and Slow Dancing not only showcased his immaculate live vocals, but his artistic vision and stage genius presence too. V chose completely different outfits, styles and creative sets for each song, and each time his persona and delivery matched them perfectly. On September 6, Taehyung appeared on tvN's entertainment program "You Quiz on the Block" as a guest. On September 15, V performed Slow Dancing and For Us on KBS Music Bank. Taehyung appeared on a series of YouTube shows for K-Pop ON! Spotify on September 8 and September 10. The first video was called 'Spotipoly'. Taehyung completed a number of fun and silly games from fishing to rain-making, whilst making layovers on the Spotipoly board to discuss each song. The second video was called 'Unboxing Show' where Taehyung unboxed questions from fans to answer. On September 12, Taehyung appeared on YouTube Show "IU Palette" as a special guest. IU is Korea's most famous K-pop female solo singer, whilst her show Palette, is a fun talk show that includes covering songs and singing duets with the guest. Taehyung and IU's close friendship became quickly apparent through their comfortable and teasing interactions. Her insightful questions encouraged Taehyung to share his deepest thoughts relating to his album, acting and future duet opportunities. Taehyung performed a stunning rendition of Slow Dancing with the live band, whilst IU performed Love Me Again with her iconic angelic voice. On September 10, 2023, Kim Taehyung performed on SBS' Inkigayo stage. The pre-recorded live performances of Rainy Days and Slow Dancing took place at two different locations, SBS Prism Tower and Deungchon-dong SBS Open Hall. On September 10, Taehyung appeared on iconic SBS variety program "Running Man" as a guest. He made a grand entrance in the 'Young and Rich' style, which was perfectly in line with the "land-picking V-topia race concept. From the beginning, the regular cast members were praising Taehyung's appearance and commented "You're really handsome in person, you look like a foreign actor". Throughout the filming, Taehyung not only showcased his fun-loving personality and unique sense of entertainment, but his competitiveness and smarts, which resulted in him winning the overall race. On September 2, Taehyung took part in 'Pixid, a web entertainment show dedicated to uncovering hidden 'fakes' within group chat rooms. Taehyung, the proud father of popular celebrity dog Yeontan, had to convince four cat owners that he was one of them. To prepare for the role, Taehyung studied cats and watched videos about them. His attempts to blend in and persuade the other four resulted in many hilarious moments.

Kim Taehyung spent a special day with a fan via reality program “Dingo Story.” The two had a meal together, spent the day playing at the arcade and taking photos at a Photo Booth.
